Eron Bloomgarden

Eron Bloomgarden is an expert and pioneer in environmental finance, green infrastructure and sustainable impact investing. Eron has advised governments, multilaterals and corporations on many aspects of environmental finance. He is also an adjunct professor at Columbia University where he teaches environmental markets. He has served as the President of Environmental Markets at Equator, where he had responsibility for environmental assets. Prior to that, he was U.S. Country Director at EcoSecurities, the world’s largest carbon credit company. Eron is a member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on Biodiversity and Natural Capital, and has served on the Board of Directors of the Environmental Markets Association. Eron earned an M.P.A. from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and completed the Program for Leadership Development at Harvard Business School.
