Thomas Ochuodho

Dr. Thomas Ochuodho is a Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Forest Resources and Environmental Conservation at Virginia Tech. Previously he worked for more than seven years in Kenya in an integrated ecosystem management program focusing in sustainable development, forestry, agriculture, wildlife management, and rural community livelihood systems. Dr. Ochuodho has certificate in Practical Techniques in Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) Modeling from EcoMod Modeling School Washington, DC. He received M.S. degree in Forest Economics and Management from Moi University, Kenya and his Ph.D. in Forest Economics and Policy from the University of New Brunswick, Canada.  He has published scholarly articles in academic journals in areas of natural resource management, climate change and econometrics.
