Linking land and sea through inclusive research

Indigenous communities across the Pacific Islands have initiated ridge-to-reef coastal resource management. Incorporating scientific tools like development modeling and fisheries assessments allowed new links to be identified between land use and coastal impacts in Hawai’i.
